To ensure those who use our service are cared for in a person centered manner by:
- Developing with the person an individual package of support which assists them to maintain their standard of living within their own environment, based on the individuals needs and aspirations.
- Respecting and promoting their right to privacy, dignity, choice, independence and respecting their beliefs.
- Involving service users /families and significant other people, taking forward their suggestions and views
- Developing the team, taking forward their suggestions and views
- Ensuring service users are empowered to make choices and decisions regarding their positive options care package
- Involving families where the service users wish this, whilst respecting the service users choice and privacy.
- Ensuring each person is valued as an individual, with individual strengths and individual areas of support required.
- Develop a good working relationship with the service users, social Workers, General Practitioners; district Nurses and all other multi disciplinary professionals.
- Maintain the highest standard of care by creating a learning environment for staff.
- Promoting attendance at recognized courses.
- Offering the ability to achieve SVQ level 2 or 3, and the Registered Managers Award.
